Exchanges

We are happy to exchange a product within 7 days of purchase as long as the product has not been used. Unfortunately we cannot offer this service on Cosmetics, Consumables, Shavers, Underwear and for health and hygiene reasons on navel jewellery and pierced earrings. Rings ordered to specific sizes are also non-returnabl

Refunds

In the unlikely event that your product is faulty, we will happily exchange your garment/product within 30 days. Provided that you have notified us in writing within 7 days of receipt of the goods.

Cancellation

Miss Bollywood Ltd retains the right to levy a charge of 15% of the order value on cancelled orders to cover delivery, admin, and handling costs. This also applies to non collected items from the post office.

Returns Procedure

Please call Miss Bollywood on 0845 8711071 to obtain a Returns Number before sending any goods back to us. This is very important as some goods have different procedures for return. This will enable faster processing of your return. A Return Number are issued for your protection; this is your only reference. No returns enquiries will be dealt without a valid Returns Number.

Any goods sent back without a Returns Number clearly stated on the outside of the Packet/Parcel will be refused. Charges will be made for returning the goods back to you or forwarding the item to the correct location for warranty purposes.

All returned items should be sent insured via recorded delivery to Miss Bollywood Ltd, 43 Colemansmoor Road, Woodley, Reading, Berkshire, RG5 4DG. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. We do not collect goods.

For your own protection, please retain your proof of postage as we cannot be held responsible for packages which are damaged or lost in transit. Miss Bollywood Ltd requests that goods should be returned in their original sealed packaging where possible, with labels in tact. Goods must be unworn, and unsoiled (Refunds are appicable to cosmetics, perfumes, consumables, underwear, shavers etc see above) and in re-saleable condition. (This does not affect your statutory rights)

Miss Bollywood Ltd is entitled to make a charge for damaged or missing items this may affect the total amount credited to you. You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for services carried out by us (for example, postage and packing).

The consumer protection (distance selling) regulations require that the consumer will provide written notice of a cancellation within 7 working days. The 7 working days start from the day after the day the consumer receives the goods.

Miss Bollywood Ltd is entitled to make a charge to reflect the cost of collecting the goods from the consumer and deduct this from the refund. If the packaging is damaged or items are missing this may affect the total amount credited to you. Miss Bollywood Ltd retains the right to levy a charge of at least 15% of the order value on cancelled orders to cover delivery and handling costs.

Once Miss Bollywood Ltd receive notification from you that you wish to withdraw from the contract (in accordance with these terms) any sum debited to Miss Bollywood Ltd from your credit card in relation to your order will be re-credited to that credit card account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order less any delivery or admin charges.

1.      Acknowledge all complaints within 5 working days

2.      Advise our consumers how long it will take to resolve the complaint

3.      Keep the consumer informed throughout the process

If the complaint cannot be resolved, then the matter can be passed to the Which? Web Trader who offer a FREE independent service which is available on-line to all consumers.

WEEE Regulations:

 

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment.  The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.  

The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.  

Much of the UK?s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.

 Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled.  Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill. 

 Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.

 

Miss Bollywood Ltd is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.

 

For example, if a customer bought a new hairdryer from us we would accept their old hairdryer and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item.

 

Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown below:

  

Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
